Hello everyone..
Flowers are my favorite..They have inspired me in all my crafts right from my childhood days.. These cards were drawn in my school days by seeing a calendar...

I have used poster color to color these flowers..It took about an hour to draw each of them..

The first one is of an anemone flower.. Honestly, I didn't know the name of this flower while I was drawing..Now Lets see how my painting looks..

The next flower looks like a Lily..But I really don't know the name of this flower..

Hope you liked these paintings.. Thank you for visiting my blog.. Have a nice day..Keep on crafting..

Poster painted Flower cards

"Deep in their roots, all flowers keep the light"-Theodore Roethke

Hello everyone...

Flowers have the power of enhancing our mood... So flowers are always fascinating..Today I have shared three single flower paintings that I have drawn using poster colors, on plain white chart paper..

When we paint flowers using poster colors, we can elaborately detail each and every tiny aspects..Though it is time consuming, watching our completed painting(even though it is small), is worth each and every second spent..

Things needed:

  1. Poster Colors

  2. Painting Brushes

  3. Plain White chart paper

Other Essentials:
  1. An old cloth for cleaning brushes in between changing colors
  2. Clean water
  3. A mixing tray(Optional in case we want to mix certain colours)
Here I have placed the real flower and my painting side by side..Take a look..

First comes a lovely Lily Flower..

Here are the orchid flowers..

And the last one is the single pink Tulip flower..

Hope you enjoyed this post... See you soon with my next post.. Have a nice day.
