"The "EARTH" without "ART" is just "EH"-Quote
Hello everyone..
In this post I like to share two paintings done using color filling and outlining technique.. Unlike my last post, A slight change is made in these paintings in terms of Outlining.. All my previous posts have black outlined flowers..
Things needed:
A clean and ironed Poplin Fabric:
Poplin is a fabric woven with criss cross ribs of any fiber such as cotton, wool, silk, etc., which gives it a strong texture and it prevents any paint from oozing down through it. White poplin works well with most acrylic or fabric colors but any color fabric is fine. Buy Poplin cloth here
Paints:
Many different colors of fabric/Acrylic paints.
Painting Brushes:
Short and Stiff bristles are preferable..
Painting Frame:A painting frame helps to tighten the fabric and holds it in the stretched form.
Other Essentials:
In this painting, Filling is done by a peach/flesh tint shaded light colour and strokes of light pinks are added for effect. The centre part is colored with vermillion and the outlining of the petals is given crimson color.. As you can see, the crimson colored outline adds another layer of color to those petals..
The leaves are given light green acrylic color and outlined with usual black..
The above flower painting is hand drawn like my Pink Flowers Post while the next painting is a pattern traced like my Red Rose Post.
Like the above painting, We not only have to give dark colors as outline.. When the filling is done with any dark color, we can try outlining with light colored paints..As you can see, the light colored outline too will work wonders..
Hope you enjoyed this post... See you soon with my next post.. Have a nice day..
